About Chris & Jess

Chris Ulery is an evangelist with a driving passion to raise a generation of true God lovers that live to touch God’s heart. Chris and his wife Jessica serve as service pastors for Victory Downtown, a campus of Victory Churh in Tulsa, Oklahoma while also traveling as itinerant ministers. Chris was born into a pastor’s family and began developing a passion for the Lord at an early age. As a young boy he would climb onto the fireplace steps and “preach” to anyone that would listen. By the time he was 12 he was playing drums for his church’s praise and worship team and began leading worship as a young teenager.

After Chris graduated high school he began producing his father’s television show “The Burning Heart” and then later went on to become a promotions producer for the Victory Television Network. While working for VTN Chris received the call to ministry. So he enrolled in a worship/evangelism school located in Nashville, TN where he was taught and trained by some of the nation’s foremost ministry leaders such as Lou Engle, Rick Pino, and Scott Macleod. It was during this time in Nashville that country and bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs prophesied that Chris was to be “a communicator for the Kingdom of God.” Chris began to receive invitations to minister around Nashville and after graduating felt led to return home to head up the outreach department of his hometown church. As outreach director Chris led teams into prisons, care centers, nursing homes, parks, and to the homeless on the streets. While in this position Chris was often given the pulpit to minister and began to develop a passion for preaching.

Then in late 2008 Chris was asked to go on tour with CCM music group NewFire. This eventually connected Chris with the opportunity to also begin touring for the chart-topping, Dove Award-winning music group FFH in early 2009. This led to a whirlwind season for Chris of TV performances, radio performances, traveling coast to coast performing live for audiences of thousands, and performing with many of the nation’s biggest Christian music artists (Learn more about Chris’ music career by clicking here). As Chris’ travels continued to take him into churches all across the nation he felt led to pursue a speaking ministry and enrolled in world-renowned Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, OK. Chris graduated RBTC in 2013 (along with his now wife Jessica), received his ministry credentials, and became a member of the Rhema Ministerial Association International. After graduation Chris accepted the pastorate for Genesis youth, the student ministry of Legacy Family Church, where attendance multiplied more than tenfold under his leadership in under two years. Shortly after Chris took over the leadership of “Pulse”, the Friday night outreach of the young adult ministry of Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, OK, one of the largest young adult ministries in the nation. Chris and Jessica still lead weekly outreaches into the darkest

Chris and Jessica still lead weekly outreaches into the darkest parts of their city while serving as service pastors for Victory Downtown. When not busy with their local church responsibilities Chris and Jessica enjoy traveling for Divine Romance Ministries inspiring others to live to touch God’s heart, and helping them understand our profound impact on the emotional heart of God. “It is an honor to recommend such a faithful and powerful young man as Chris Ulery. Chris graduated from the first Thunder School we hosted here in Nashville, TN. Even back then I remember a special passion and honesty on his life that was both uncommon and inspiring. Since those days Chris has gone on to minister faithfully through music extensively across America. Chris is a gifted communicator who can speak effectively to both young and old. I highly recommend Chris to your church or organization as he is a man of humility and integrity. He also packs a powerful punch that will knock out the lurking darkness and usher in the liberating light of purity. The message Chris carries is imperative for the church of today that is facing new Challenges that Chris eloquently and courageously addresses. Wherever he goes he carries with him a pure life revolution!”

Paul Daugherty | Senior Pastor/Victory Church

“Chris Ulery is an amazing man of God. His heart for people to experience the love of God is evident in his lifestyle and words. He carries a passion to serve the body of Christ that is undeniable and a humility in his approach that attracts people to want to hear what God is speaking through him. He has served at our church for over 7 years now and I fully support his decision to travel out and minister across the nation.”

Mark Kresge | Executive director/Victory College

“For several years Chris Ulery led our weekly outreach team into our community to make a significant difference. Under Chris’ leadership, hundreds of people were empowered to preach the gospel, pray for the sick, and meet practical needs; Chris has an innate leadership gift and exemplifies a heart of Christ like compassion to those around him.”

Jeremy Deibler | Frontman/FFH

“I met Chris Ulery when he was playing with the band that was opening up for mine. Not long after that we needed someone to play bass for us and I asked Chris to step in. I was astounded by his preparation. As we worked together over the next year Chris did everything we asked him to do without question, sometimes even without us asking. We built a relationship based on mutual respect. Chris was never unprepared, his expectations of our traveling situations were never too high, and he always made himself available for whatever the situation called for. As you begin your relationship with Chris I expect that you’ll find him warm, quiet, and undemanding. Characteristics that seem to becoming more rare these days”

Tracy Shelton | Senior Pastor/Living Way

“Chris Ulery is a friend of God. He has been given a revelation and a voice to communicate God’s passionate desire for intimacy with His children. He couples this with an understanding that such a relationship only grows in the soil of love, purity and humility. I’ve watched over the years as Chris’ passion for God has produced the fruit of holiness in his own life and flowed over as a beautiful influence in the lives of others. Chris deeply loves the body of Christ and is a dedicated student of God’s word. He has a message that restores the broken, challenges the complacent, and fuels the believer to be sold out for the Lord. Chris’ talent as a musician and worship leader is striking, and if you look deeply, you will find the key; he possesses the heart of a true worshipper. Chris is a encouragement to my own heart as I pray to see a generation rise up and live lives of eternal significance, with both feet firmly planted in the Kingdom of God.”
